Friendship- a lesson learnt

Note: This is not preaching stuff here, its only my feelings penned down so keep your comments with yourself unless you want to comment something on the article!

Heck! I had enough studies! I just thought of thinking about something. Its weird to notice that the people who you think are "your own" people are the ones who may be the biggest cheats. For example, your best friends may not be your true friends. Now the question is how? Well, to know this first assess yourself. If your friends think that you would take their comments on certain things in wrong way and would break apart from them, then you are at loss. This would stop them from pointing your true mistakes. True friends are those who keep telling you where you are wrong and how can you improve. The point is very clear. Not all good friend (good at heart) may be true friends.

2nd type of friends include those who dispose you off at the time of need. They are the ones who pretend to be your friends. Wealth will buy you lot of friends but wealth wont buy you genuine friends. In India, we call such people "Matlabi". You will find these at all corners of the world. They are cheats, frauds, no-good sort of people. One must learn to be rather careful from them.

3rd type of friends are those who would remain there true to you. They will critisie you on the face and try and give you solutions. They are the TRUE friends. They would not betray you at any point of time.

The best example of true friendship is the movie spiderman-2. Harry, when he is drunk in a high society party where Peter is a photographer, slaps insults and does stupid things to Peter. Peter takes it all and forgives Harry in the end. That is the real true friendship!
