As I stood on the hilltop during my vacation to a village, the nature's sight filled me with delight and I took the opportunity to thank my luck that I was able to witness such a delightful sight. The sun was rising slowing and the distant cow-bells were clearly heard. The cool morning breeze swept across my face. The stars had disappeared but the moon was still visible. The sky was filled with variety of birds. The sound of the nearby Brooke was like a soft melody to the ears. The mooing of cow and the distant barks of dogs added to the beauty of nature. As the sun rose, its light turned everything golden. The water from the Brooke dazzled with a golden glow. The sound of rustling of leaves too, was melodious.
I lay there like a jobless kid gazing at the rare sight (cause of the ruddy city life). It was quite a phenomenon. The Meadows were lush green and wet. The coolness of the grass began to diminish as the sun rose. I turned and returned back home to be back at the night.
During the dusk, the sky was blood red. The water of Brooke was giving off its final reflections. There was smoke coming from the houses of the village. I lay on the lush green grass of the meadow and gazed at the sky. The cool breeze accompanied by the sound of insects was also something to marvel at. The sun was sinking in the infinity of the horizon. The light lasted for a while after the sun was gone and then slowly the night life began its reign. The stars began to appear like droplets in the huge dark ocean of the sky. They twinkled and their reflection was clearly seen in the water of the Brooke. The stars seemed to flow down along with the water. The sky was ornamented. The ground was coloured dark. The only light from the moon illuminated the grass which looked grey. The water appeared to be coming out of nowhere in the Brooke and disappeared somewhere into the forest. The trees stood out like giants on the land. Only their outline was visible under the moon-light.
Alas pals, its one of my dreams to achieve at least one day of peace after the hectic life in such a place. I know the description is not extravagant and such places do exist. Only a matter of time of when can it all be achieved!
